We’re waiting for Google to start building aircraft engines or leasing containers. It’s just a matter of time.
Why?
Google recently released Chrome, a new browser to compete with IE, Firefox, and Opera. Yes, that’s right, a browser. So now it’s search, email, office applications, social networking, mobile phones…and browsers.
And this may make a lot of sense – after all, Google Gears has been seeking to ensure that the company can dominate the off line world as well as the online world, so it probably only makes sense that Google would want a dominant hand in the client side as well.
Just don’t be surprised if you see Google milk on the shelves in the near future. I guess all that money has to get invested in something…
