Tools: MoGo Bluetooth for the iPhone

Given the state of laws about cell phone usage, especially here in the Northeast, it’s hard to get the full benefit out of your iPhone/cellphone without a good Bluetooth headset. Well, OK, you could use a wired headset, but bluetooth is handy, and many Bluetooth headsets have noise canceling features which make them better for conversations, especially in cars or on the go in general.

While I’ve had several different headsets in the past (including the Jawbone, which really is exceptionally good), I’ve noticed that:

- Bluetooth headsets are bulky to carry,

- Pockets break them, and sometimes bags and jackets do too,

- When the power on them runs out, that’s it, and

- Car charging them can interfere with charging the phone itself.

Some of these same problems I’ve had with wired headsets too – they fall out of your pocket, become horribly twisted, etc.

So I was happy to start using the MoGo headset. The headset is comfortable, charges continuously through the phone’s battery, and attaches itself to the phone in a way that doesn’t add much to the phone’s profile. It’s a great device, so if you use an iPhone and a headset, you should check this one out.
